Welcome to Pathfinder!

Ever spotted an enticing footpath as you passed by an enchanting woodland?  Ever seen a small yellow arrow pointing far across rolling hills, and wondered what lies beyond?

Over recent years my fiancé Beth and I have spent our Sundays exploring the hundreds of miles of footpaths hidden away throughout the much-underappreciated countryside of Kent and East Sussex (particularly amongst the High Weald AONB), and found ourselves falling in love with its secret tracks and hidden ways, guided along by the presence of the reassuring way markers.  Usually looking for routes between the five and ten-mile mark – ideally with a pub along the way – in our blog we will be looking at our walks, both tried-and-tested and new, throughout the seasons, providing links to maps and instructions and hoping to inspire you to get outside and discover it all for yourself.  With its woods, downs, orchards and farmland (we love a sheep here at Pathfinder!), the southeast provides picturesque and gentle scenery to be explored by all, whether you are looking for enjoyment, freedom, fresh air or simply a little exercise.

So if you live in the South East corner, then look no further!  Follow Pathfinder and dive into the secret world hidden right on your doorstep, as we help you find your perfect path.
