Buttercups Goats
Having worked for the UK’s first goat sanctuary for well over a decade, I have had the pleasure of reporting on all the goings-on of herd life, for the charity’s quarterly newsletters throughout the years. Supporters have been able to experience these stories, both joyful and heart-breaking, helping to bring the sanctuary’s work to life. Born in 1994, I am a big believer in the magical power of words. Lover of the countryside and all things nature, I also enjoy pondering the mysteries of the universe and the human experience, when I am not daydreaming about dragons or whatever the latest exotic motor roaring out of the Italian heartlands might be. Having written for a registered animal charity, English Heritage and Kent Wildlife Trust, as well as producing children’s literature, poetry, custom stories and personalised speeches, my range and depth are ever-growing. Walking through the countryside of Kent and East Sussex (mainly!) has become a big part of our lives over recent years, and my fiancée and I have found ourselves falling deeper and deeper in love with the area we call home.
