Matthew G. Huggins
Born in Maidstone hospital, Spring 1994, the childhood that followed was nothing short of magical. Growing up on stories from J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling, the power of words fuelled my young mind. My youngest years were spent gleefully running around stick in hand, heroically slashing away at goblins of the imagination.
Following on from my youngest years, came a youthful journey full of bad decision and cherished memories; a truly great adventure, filled with invaluable lessons. During this time my path led me to one of the most special places I have been fortunate enough to encounter; Buttercups Sanctuary for Goats. Having been working with the charity for close to a decade, I have been involved with rescues of all shapes and sizes, as well as having had the pleasure of reporting on stories, both delightful and heart-breaking, for the quarterly newsletter, which has an audience of several thousand, and reaches all corners of planet Earth.
Which brings us to the here and now, when the time is right to pursue my long running dream of becoming an author, with the relase of my first book in Autumn 2021.
The one thing I’ve learnt for sure?
Magic is definitely real.
